Australia 108 stands as the southern hemisphere’s tallest residential tower, rising 319 metres in Melbourne’s Southbank precinct. Designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects, this landmark development features 1,105 luxury apartments across 100 levels, establishing a new benchmark for high-rise residential construction in Australia. The building includes three levels of world-class residential amenity, notably featuring two infinity pools located 210 metres above ground, demanding exceptional waterproofing performance in extreme elevated conditions.

 

To meet the highest performance and sustainability standards, the project focused on:

 

  • Delivering robust waterproofing protection for elevated amenity spaces including two infinity pools 210 metres above ground level
  • Providing reliable systems across diverse applications throughout 100 levels of luxury residential construction
  • Ensuring long-term durability and performance for the southern hemisphere’s tallest residential tower serving over 1,100 apartments

 

Envirosystems Solution

 

Envirosystems waterproofing solutions were specified and installed across a variety of applications throughout the Australia 108 build. The scope encompassed critical elevated waterproofing challenges, including the two infinity pools positioned 210 metres above ground, alongside comprehensive protection for wet areas, amenity spaces and building envelope applications across the 100-level tower.
