Situated in Sydney’s leading business and cultural precinct, 200 George Street rises 37 storeys as one of Australia’s most environmentally advanced and sustainable buildings. This 50,000m² landmark development achieved a 6 Star Green Star – Office Design (v3) rating, representing ‘World Leadership’ in environmental sustainability practices, together with a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating. The project demanded waterproofing solutions capable of meeting the stringent environmental credentials and performance standards befitting a premium commercial development in Sydney’s central business district.
To meet the highest performance and sustainability standards, the project focused on:
- Delivering environmentally responsible waterproofing solutions aligned with the building’s 6 Star Green Star and 5 Star NABERS Energy certifications
- Providing reliable, long-term protection across 50,000m² of premium commercial space with minimal environmental impact

Envirosystems Solution
Keeping in line with the environmentally sustainable practices implemented during construction, Envirosystems products were selected for the 200 George Street development, adding to the growing list of tier-one construction projects utilising these solutions around Australia. The specification encompassed 50,000m² of waterproofing applications across the 37-storey tower.
